How To Replace The Vibrating Shaft On A TVSA-T Tomahawk Engine Power Screed

The vibrating shaft on the TVSA-T Tomahawk Engine Power Screed rotates to transmit power from one or more parts to another part. The shaft is located inside the shaft tube, underneath the Tomahawk engine.

If your screed is not operating correctly, the vibrating shaft may need to be replaced.

NOTE: The replacement vibrating shaft fits 2019 and newer models.

To replace the shaft on your power screed, follow these steps:

What You Will Need:

Instructions:

Step 1:

Using a large adjustable wrench, remove the old vibrating shaft from the base of the screed.

Step 2:

At the top, pull the pin to release the cuffing from the vibrating shaft.

Step 3:

Grease the new vibrating shaft.

Step 4:

Reinstall the new vibrating shaft and tighten with a wrench at the base.

Step 5:

Reconnect the cuffing at the top.

With a new shaft in place, your power screed is now ready to use!
