Here is what you’ll need:

An oil drain pan

A funnel

A ratchet and 10mm Socket

New engine oil

And clean rags or paper towels

Step 1:

Locate the oil drain plug on your GX160.

It is typically located on the bottom of the engine below the oil reservoir. Place an oil drain pan underneath the drain plug to the used oil.

Using a ratchet with a 10mm socket carefully remove the drain plug and allow the used oil to drain completely into the oil pan.

Step 2:

To refill the engine with new oil, locate the oil reservoir on the opposite side of the engine and unscrew the plug. Using a funnel, pour the new oil into the reservoir. Be careful not to overfill as this can cause engine damage.

Step 3:

Replace the oil plug and start the engine and let it run for a few minutes to circulate the new oil.

Use the dipstick to check the oil level ensuring it fall within the recommended range.

Step 4:

Wipe off and spilled oil and clean the engine surface using clean rags or paper towels.

Properly dispose of the used oil in an environmentally friendly manner. Many auto part stores or recycling centers accept used oil for recycling.
